Product Update: Blind Boxes Launches on Polygon Network
Blind Boxes will add support for Polygon, a Layer-2 scaling solution, this July. This collaboration augments our vision of building a robustly interoperable decentralized ecosystem for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Our calibrated roadmap since our March IDO has been on a trajectory of increased scalability and interoperability. After launching our Mainnet Beta on Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and subsequently bolting on support for Ethereum Mainnet in June, launching on Polygon Network is another important milestone for our project.
What this means for Creators and Collectors
Polygon Network is a vital full stack scaling solution of the Ethereum network. Many call it Ethereum’s internet of blockchains. This latest update unlocks the ability for Ethereum users in the BLES community to migrate their ERC-721 standard tokens to Polygon Network and access their incredibly low fees and faster transaction throughput.
Creators on Polygon Network can continue minting their NFTs in the popular ERC-721 standard while enjoying the benefits of their network effects and superlative, scalable user experience.
Additionally, this opens up the Blind Boxes platform for a new cohort of creators and collectors who are already interacting with the Polygon Network.
Moreover, this integration will bring awareness of the Blind Boxes Marketplace to the Polygon Network community.
